Looks like I'll stick to winamp playing the game music then, thanks.
*Edit* Feel like such a newb with this emulator! Lol you can change a lot of options while the game is going, that's new to me, and very cool. I just noticed this game isn't actually 16:9 too. After learning you could change a lot of graphical options while the game is running, I started to see what everything looks like off/on, then noticed widescreen hack. The lock-on target on enemies seems a little off, sometimes it won't be directly on them, but otherwise I guess this is the way any game should be played on a 16:9 display assuming it doesn't have game specific problems with the hack huh?
Also without pixel lighting on the game gets some weird artifacts for me(with the rest of my settings described earlier), kind of like aliasing but it's shimmering edges in harsh light or shadow, this disappears with that setting on and it makes the game look better anyway.
There's that mission 8 boss problem...it doesn't crash, but the cutscene that should happen before he spawns doesn't. At 1:40 here,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8ysoZ2_vW8&feature=related , that's what should happen. Instead the room is empty and just lets me run around in it. It looks like I could do a bunch of crap and maybe get the save onto my sd card, onto the wii, beat the boss, put the save back on the card, back on my computer, and back into the emulator. I'm seeing some programs for that stuff...would it work?
*Edit* ORRRRR I use an AR code to skip to mission 9 and bypass doing all of that crap. The "boss fights" in this game are usually either kill a bunch of weak enemies and kill a core or use a special attack and basically 1shot a boss type enemy, so I'm not worried about missing it. Anything that might screw up from doing that like getting one of the unlockable suits can be fixed with AR codes too so, meh good enough.
All right sorry about the..triple post now. Don't want to edit.
Other than that one mission, the game is playable. Though to be fair, there are only 11 actual missions minus trial missions(randomly generated just for points to buy stuff) so 1 whole mission gone kinda sucks lol, but it's a short one.
So, can't do mission 8, music loop problems and slowdown in just a few specific areas that I saw with my settings+computer. Finishing off with a youtube video I made because I'm just kind of learning how to record and encode these. I'm not great so I put cheats on. I probably wouldn't die normally but this specific suit is a one hit kill, so no need to watch me suck. Thanks for some of the help and I hope my stuff helps anyone else that comes along to play this in the future.

Going to continue to use this great emulator, I had no idea it was so far along which is why I've been ignoring it for awhile. Need to get my wii remote hooked up, I do have a cheap usb blue tooth thing around here somewhere...
*Edit* Unchecking ram for efb copies gets rid of basically all slowdown, fyi.
So has anyone figured out a fix for the non looping bgm tracks? As someone else on the forum said the issue seems to be that all bgm tracks are in one big .spp file. The issue is still on google code but until/if the issue gets fixed can anyone provide me with temporary fix?
You could try with 3.0-600 (AudioStreaming Merge Branch by skid). I don't know if it will solve the issue though. I wanted to try but I still haven't got time to. Tell me if it works

Alas it didn't work. Tracks still don't loop
Thanks for the tip though.
Unfortunately it didn't work

. Thanks for the report
