I have an old laptop which i would like to use to run dolphin 4.0.2 but the last time i tried it was impoossible because it was very slow so
can anyone tell what would be the best configuration for speed please? i didn't find anything related to this on google so i decided to
ask here.

computer specification are:
windows 10
Acer aspire 3680 2125
Intel celeron m Processor 440
1.66 gHz
intel graphics media accelerator 950

i want to play "the legend of zelda twilight princess" for gc
and mario sunshine
and luigis mansion
Dolphin 4.4 isn't even a version that exists. You should be using 5.0 or newer if possible.

The default settings are generally the fastest. They don't enable graphical enhancements, and they don't enable unnecessary accuracy settings that are enabled by game INIs when needed. You may want to try decreasing the CPU Clock Override (lower than 100%).

Don't expect Dolphin to run fast enough on your computer.

EDIT: Oh, apparently that's a 32-bit CPU... I suppose that's why you're not running 5.0. You really shouldn't expect Dolphin to run fast enough.
If you're using a 32 bit CPU and Dolphin 4.0, default settings are the fastest you'll go.

You can't use anything newer because we dropped support for 32 bit CPUs.
