Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello all,

Currently I am trying to run a .dol file from Dolphin, but each time I try to launch it it just fails.

The .dol file I am willing to launch is the one that launches CTGP Revolution.
I do have all my required files available on the virtual SD card.
All what happens is Dolphin trying to launch the file and then crashes.
Is there something I am missing in order to launch this file?

I am able to run other boot.dol files (such as the homebrew app Mii Extractor) successfully, but there is no screen output for this either. I would like to know how I'd get a screen output on this.

Any help is gladly appreciated.

You may need to enable real XFB for some homebrew. If that doesn't help, try messing with the EFB settings too.

Thanks for the reply Jos, I have enabled Real XFB and now I'm able to see the output for homebrew applications.

Unfortunately I am still unable to launch CTGP-R.
Could this problem reside on the use of Riivolution? as far as I know, CTGP-R uses this and I have no idea how this may influence the boot.dol for this application.
May the accessing of SD card files while in a .dol application cause Dolphin to crash? CTGP-R is trying to load files from
/sd/ctgpr
