We're kinda aware of the issue, it was caused by the last change on the FIFO code (around r3985) this change sucked for sure, it should probably be reverted sometime. Confused
The PAL version still works fine as it's always has. There are some pointer issues with both video plugins on one of the maps but overall the game works nicely.
for me the PAL is stuck in the first loading screen (R 4384, 64bit)
Must be a 64-bit problem. I can post a save-state that takes you to the main menu if it would work coming from a 32-bit OS.
Memory addresses are incompatible between 32-bit and 64-bit builds of Dolphin, even of the same revision. Trying to load a 32-bit savestate in a 64-bit build causes a crash, most likely because of memory addresses not matching. (TODO: Add 32-bit/64-bit flag to savestates to prevent accidental loading of wrong type of save...)

If it's a 64-bit only issue, just run the 32-bit version of Dolphin to play this game. Smile (Don't have this specific game to test.)
I'm using the PAL version with the 32bits build too and it does hang during the loading, though it might be a dual core only issue, for sure the patch here : http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=1524#c5 helps fixing it
