OK,

So I'm new here.

I downloaded Dolphin 5.0-120.

I would like to use my keyboard on my iMac.  It's NOT a wireless keyboard.
Although I also have one.
I've tried everything I could, but it's just not functioning at all.
I search the Internet, but did not find anything.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.
Can you not select it or does it not work ingame?

I can select it in the "Controller" section (I've tried them all.)
But I can't configure it.
I don't have the A B X Y, etc... To map to the keyboard.
It just shows me the keys of my keyboard which I can map to themselves....
Therefore, of course, it does not work in-game...

I'll post pics in a new post.

Thank You
In the main window of the controller configuration, set Port 1 to Standard Controller instead of Keyboard.
Thank you very much.  It's working now. Big Grin

But, does it make sense ???

Cheers.   Big Grin
Yes. The point with that dropdown is that you set which emulated controller you want, not which real controller you have. (For some reason the Wii U GameCube adapter option doesn't follow that logic, but I think that's the only one...)

Well, to me, that's not logical.
Or at least it should be explained somewhere.... Wink

Thank you again.

Cheers.
The drop down box is to chose what sort of controller you want dolphin to think is plugged in.

A few games actually had a GameCube controller that was a keyboard (PSO was the only one I can think of), to send keyboard input into the game for use in online gaming.

Since you want to use the computer keyboard to control games, you want it to be emulating the GameCube controller, not the keyboard

Yes, I understand that now. It's just not clear from the start.
It leads to confusion. Smile
