Hello my fellow Creatures of the Internet.
I'm looking for a good Tablet for everyday use and playing on Emulators. Sadly the Pixel C dosn't offer a SDXC Slot or LTE Functions.
I know that the Tegra X1 (Pixel C) is the go to Choice for any Kind of Emulator, but the Combination of Price, lack of SDXC and LTE are just not that great.
If it had SDXC and LTE, I would drop that Money.
Are there any other known Tablets released or upcoming (need it at End of July) that would give me what I seek?
Wishlist for Santa:
- 9" to 15" (i have Shovels for Hands)
- SDXC Support
- OTG Storage Support
- LTE (would be nice)
- Should handle PSX, NDS, PSP and the rest in the Future.
I can get my Hands on the Tab S2 or Z4 Tablet for 400$ and less but I don't know about the Exynos 5433 or Snapdragon 810.
I hope to find a satisfying Answer.

The Pixel C is the only mobile device with fast video drivers (which are about as fast as the D3D12 backend), everything else should use Windows.
But don't uy a tablet with an intel Atom CPU, they are very slow, often evem slower than the A57 found in the Pixel C.
So in the end, there might be the "Acer Switch Alpha 12" (keep care about every word in the name), it has a 15W laptop CPU. But no idea if you still want to call this a "tablet"...
By the way: Right now, no mobile device with an ARM CPU is fast enough to enjoy dolphin (but with a few very simple games), and we don't support intel+android (will likely be fixed at some point), their Atom series isn't faster than ARM, so it's likely a bad idea to buy a tablet for playing dolphin. You will be disappointed by every device.
I'm waiting to see if Google will push Vulkan/ES3.2 driver for Nexus 9 after all. It's weird that they haven't already, especially that driver is ready on Nvidia's end
Meaning if I wanted to play anything beyond the PSX, N64 or NDS, i'd need to get a Intel Core based Tablet or Convertible. I know that there are a few Surface Devices on Sale to ok Prices. For Example: Surface Pro 4, Core i5 6300U, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD Windows 10 Pro, TypeCover for 789.-.
I haven't grasped the Performance of those Core M, Core Y and Core U CPU. If you guys could give me a Round-Up, i could go an a Search for good Priced Windows Devices.

No what they are saying is that all these options are unsatisfactory. Personally, I would ask how much dolphin usage means, and what you intend to use the tablet for otherwise. You will not see much better perf with an ultra book CPU or atom compared to Cortex A57 powered tablets. As far as android goes, nvidia is unequivocally the fastest option, so Pixel C is the only worthwhile bet. If you are interested in Windows on your tablet for other usage reasons then continue asking around here for options. Either way, you need to analyze how much of a priority dolphin actually is and what your tablet absolutely needs for non gaming usage.
I'm not a big Fan of the Windows Mobile Experience. I'd rather stick to Android if i want to get a Tablet. I watch a lot of YouTube and spend a lot of Time reading Manga, watching Anime, browsing Forums and wasting Time on the Web. My current Focus is on NDS and PSX but i'd like to play a few good old Games from the PSP Era. I wouldn't mind if my Device would be capable of MultiTab or whatever that Function is called on Android, to have YouTube on one Side and a NDS Game on the other. I wouldn't mind a good GameCube experience for the Pokemon Games, PS2 for .Hack// but for that i can use my PC if not acceptable on a Tablet.
I saw my Galaxy Note 4 start lagging while i had Twitch (Sound Only) and the NDS Emulator DraStic running together. That wasn't a nice experience and i wouldn't want my Tablet behaving like that.

With android N the Pixel C will support multiwindow, and would easily handle a DS emulator in a side by side window. The Tegra X1 is leagues faster than the Snapdragon 805 in the Note 4

The lack of SDXC hurts... I have to test my Frankenstein OTG SSD more and finde a Type C OTG Adapter. I will try and get the Pixel C but if i find a sub 200.- Z4 Tablet or Tab S2, i'll drop the Pixel C.
Are there any known SIM/LTE+SDXC Adapters for Type C Devices?
You can easily use any decent android tablet to play nds, psx, and PSP emulators. So you're probably better off forgetting about playing GameCube and ps2, if you really prefer to use android. Pixel c is the only one capable of using dolphin but even that isn't perfect, and its not worth the money if all you're going to use it for is dolphin. Nothing on android can play ps2 at anywhere near playable speeds.
