Hi, everyone.
I've never had any major issues with Dolphin, until I downloaded 5.0. When I first downloaded 5.0, I tried two games I was in the mood to play, Super Mario All Stars, and Mario Kart Wii. Both were faster, and I was quite pleased. When I tried to open up Super Mario All Stars again later, the new screen for the game popped up as if it were going to load, but Dolphin crashed. I moved on to Mario Kart which worked fine. At some point later on I tried Mario Kart again, but this time, it did not work. All of my other games were still fine. Today, I have tried all of my games, and now none of them work. I just noticed that in the bottom right hand corner of the menu screen, not the game screen, it says 'Not Connected' before it crashes. Any idea what this means, and why it would just start all of a sudden? I'm running a Windows 8 x64 PC, and 5.0, along with my previous versions were downloaded from here.
Try deleting the Cache folder in the Dolphin Emulator folder in Documents. I'm not sure if it will help, but it could be worth a try.

It does work once. Once I play a game, that specific game will crash Dolphin again if I try to start it up again. Deleting the cache seems to reset it again, and I don't have a problem clearing it each time before I play since it takes about 5 seconds, but this is probably something you should be aware of.
That it only works once makes sense, as the shader cache gets rebuilt when you launch the game. Could you tell us what GPU you have?

I'm not quite sure what you need, but according to Google this should cover what you're asking for. If not, let me know.
@username: please grab a system diag tool like Speccy and fill in your PC specs in on your profile. That way we know exactly what you're running in the future.

Thanks for the link! It's all filled in now.
On my gpu this uses to happen on opengl. Try another backend
Make sure you have the latest drivers for that GPU
