People...I have both versions of Zeldas TP for Gamecube and Wii...(Im using the GC version because of the Xbox 360 controller).
Im new with dolphin and i recently saw that you can change the graphic Plugin..
With OpenGL i can play well..but..with lows graphics if i use good graphics i have slow fps in some places..
With Direct3D i play excelent. Like in realtime...always 100% vps and best graphics...But..i just noticed that i dont have the minimap...
So there is a way to play using Direct3D9 and having the minimap?
------------
I have an Ati radeon 4870 1gb ram and a Phenom Quadcore 3.6 Ghz.
Why is this user banned ? Very strange...
Basically, you cant see the minimap in direct3d yet as it doesnt support a feature called efb reading properly ( atleast I think this is the reason can anyone confirm ? )
Hopefully it will be added in future revisions so we can have the minimap in direct3d
To be honest..I Don't know why i got banned...The reason was "warez" but i never posted any link or information about Warez.....BTW..i wont make a ban appeal of an account with 1 post. Maybe i said something bad but my other post was extremely similar to this one (the 1st of the topic). It was my 1st ban in a forum and it wasn't cool.

rgplord, do you know when aprox it will be implemented (EFB) in the Direct3d9? I mean..it's a new notice or old? Just to know if maybe we will have it in a day in month or maybe next year.

BerserkS i didnt played to much im still trapped at the town and downloading different revisions of the emu all the time (so im starting from 0 every time) let me check how to move "the virtual memory stick" from 1 emu to another every time i change revision and start playing with opengl...Then i will tell you if i got good or bad fps..
But with direct3d9 works like a charm and very good quality...
You can copy your saved file, just copy and paste the file in the following folder of each rev:
Dolphin xxxx > User > GC
The name of the file should be something like "MemoryCardA.EUR"
Hope it helps.
I just spent like an hour in hyrule field just to get to the light spirit after goron mines.... what a pain in the @$$ with 10 fps =(
Man, wut the heck is happening with the world??? I just got away for a few weeks and now the DX plugin is better than OGL?? Im using the gc version, and yes i got the lastest revisions including Orleans and Omegadox, and for me its still the same: 10 - 15 fps all the time with OGL and 1-3 fps with DX wut miracle may have I missed in my ausence, and please guys, how can I do it? YES I HAVe ENaBLED THE BLOOM HACK! Thanks in advance, specs in the signature!
I think i stumbled to a solution, after hours trying to find a solution and finding myself in a dead end i notice that i was playing in the european version of zelda tp, then a few hours later i tried with the usa version and i got a speed boost, cant say if it works 100% in hyrule field because i had to start a new game.
Ill post later when i get the chance to get to faron woods at least (cant play at work atm) =/
Can someone explain me wut to do? I am using the USA version, and as I sad in my other post, When I went to vacation feel weeks ago the DX plugin was aways the worst thing to use in any game or situation, can someone explain me what happened, andplease teach me how to make TP reach a playable FPS with this? I have USA version, I use the lastest builds from Omegadox and Orleans, and with OGL I get 10 - 15 fps and DX 1 - 3 fps Im on the faron woods twilight area. There must be something I missed while I was on vacation, because I tried messing with the configs I was used to and no diference, help me guy, plz, thanx in advance!
D3D should be working a lot better on your card. Do you have the latest graphics drivers form nvidia?
Use direct3d9 plugin, in graphics all filters disabled, lowest res, and in the DSP disable other audio.
Click on the game properties and enable Dual Core, Enable Idle Skipping, TLB Hack, Optimize Quantizers, Unlimited Jit Cache and Zelda Twilight Princess Bloom Hack.
Should help you out with the fps.
