Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Running 10.9.5 and Dolphin 5.0 won't open.

Any ideas why?

I don't believe dolphin runs on 10.9, you need to update.

I thought it said min requirement was Mavericks?

I think the website is wrong now.

It does say that the minimum requirements is Mavericks, but regardless, there is apparently a problem in 5.0 that makes it not work in Mavericks. We didn't notice it until 5.0 already was released. In the future, the minimum requirements may be corrected if the problem doesn't get fixed. (I'm not sure if it's a fixable problem, because right now I have no idea what the problem is.) Regardless, 5.0 itself will remain the way it is even if this gets fixed later in a development build.
