Hi guys, been trying to solve this problem for a while with no result.

I like to play mario party 8 in 4.3 but stretched. Since this game doesnt support 16.9.

If I set 4.3 on dolphin wii settings and stretch to window in graphics settings, Works fine.

Problem is setting 4.3 on dolphin wii settings will make all my games output in 4.3

To solve this, I tried every possible combination of this in game.ini to not affect other games...

[color=#000000][Video_Settings][/color]
[color=#000000]AspectRatio = 0 =>will give Auto[/color]
[color=#000000]AspectRatio = 1 =>will give Force 16/9[/color]
[color=#000000]AspectRatio = 2 =>will give Force 4/3[/color]
[color=#000000]AspectRatio = 3 =>will give Stretch to window[/color] 

With no luck at all, there is no way to get 4.3 stretched on mp8 on game.ini.

I need to get 4.3 stretched through game.ini letting dolphin graphics setting on stretch to screen and dolphin wii settings at 16.9.

Any ideas?

Or

AspectRatio = 3 =>will give stretch to window

I tried = 3, no luck. Still black bars. Also tried 0, 1, 2, 3, all gives different results, but no one gives 4.3 stretched.

Also tried all combinations with -enable widescreen- on dolphin game properties. No luck.

If someone have mp8 pal, please try:

-Set graphics settings at 1920x1080, stretch to window.

-Wii dolphin settings set at 16.9


-And try to make it 4.3 stretched through game.ini


Only way to make it 4.3 stretched is set 4.3 in dolphin wii settings, but will make all the other games looks 4.3 stretched, wich s*cks.

If nobody replies, it's usually because nobody really knows how to fix your issue

Do you know how the portable.txt system works to make Dolphin not pull from the global settings? This might be useful in figuring out if you have some deep hidden issue

Also, are you using the latest dev build?

Yes, it s a problem with dolphin, been having this problem since a few years, never bother to look into. Tried on different clean installs, but no luck.

Always using latest build.

Hope someone can figure it out why there is no way to get the same 4.3 stretched through game.ini

So if changing the Wii ratio to 4:3 in the Dolphin settings fixes this, is there not an INI line that can change that setting that can be used in the game's INI?
