Hi.

I've been using Dolphin for a while without any issue when it suddenly decided not to work anymore.
I am mainly using Dolphin for 1 game, SSB. Melee, and I recently decided to import a save file in order to play the game differently.
This is how i noticed there's been a problem because I just couldn't do it.
I've tried many different ways to import that save file but I kept receiving error messages...
I decided to delete everything I had about Dolphin, and restart on a brand new one.

Now, whenever I try to launch the game, it tells me this :

I select "Yes".

Then :

I select "Yes".

And finally :

Now I can play the game.
The problem is, it doesn't save anything.
Also, after a few seconds, an error message pops up.
It says that it can't write on .../Dolphin/Emulator/GC/MemoryCardA.USA.raw.
I followed this path, to make sure the file was there, but it wasn't.
Actually, the entire Dolphin folder is missing.
It should automatically create the needed folder when you execute Dolphin for the first time, but it doesn't.

Now, Dolphin doesn't respond to any modifications in its settings.
And if I manage to change anything, like running the game in fullscreen, it'll reset when I close the emulator, and all the settings will be back to default.

I looked up on many forums for an answer and nothing worked out.
I tried to run Dolphin as an Administrator, I downloaded different versions of Dolphin, I used the Memory Card B, I set a new path for Dolphin to create a new folder...
The list goes on and on, nothing works.
I am lost, I really don't understand what is going on.
As I said, it was working fine before I tried to import that save file.

Please help !
Try to delete the dolphin-emu folder in documents.

Thank you for your answer, but you have obviously missed the part I underlined on purpose, because I wanted to avoid that very specific answer.
I can't believe it did still happen.
That path you looked at isn't the path where dolphin stores its data go to documents and delete the dolphin-emu folder

It looks a lot like that path to me. It just omits the beginning of the path and (accidentally?) says "Dolphin/Emulator" instead of "Dolphin Emulator".

Indeed, I did a mistake while writing the path.

I didn't want to add an image of it because it is in french, but here it is :

I checked again in my documents and there is no "Dolphin Emulator" folder.

Oops I was thinking of the android version
Try changing a setting In the options menu it might recreate the file if that does not work I've got no idea

As I mentioned before, if I try to change anything in the emulator settings, that might work, but as soon as I close the emulator, it'll reset back to default.

I also tried to modify my game settings, in its properties, and I end up with this :

It says that it can't save on that "GALE01.ini" file, because it just doesn't exist on my PC.

There is something wrong with this.

I am almost giving up on this...

Thank you for your time.
That's really strange
