I am looking for a way to stop audio stutter in Twilight Princess. The stutters generally happen when new models are loaded in quickly or during a camera shift, as such they happen mostly during cutscenes. I am currently playing on OpenAL, which seems to reduce to problem when compared to XAudio.

My specs:
Windows 10
GTX 970
Intel i7 4770k @ 3,9
Latest dolphin build (but I've had this problem for many builds)

Any ideas?
If the game stutters, the audio stutters. There's nothing you can do about that.
ZTP shouldn't be lagging on their setup though.

Right Click on the game in Dolphin > Properties > AR Codes > Enable ZTP Speed Hack

Config > Enable Cheats. Then switch back to XAudio.

Boot ZTP and load from a normal save file.

Make sure your internal resolution and anti-aliasing isn't insane (3x is good for 1080p)
@Helios: It's not normal performance issues he's having. He's talking about those good old shader cache generation stutters (he says it only happens when new stuff gets on the screen).
Unfortunately, there's no cure for that except Ishiiruka's Async Shader Cache Generation.
Ubershaders are coming soon™ though. (after 5.0)
Except ubershaders apparently aren't the miracle solution people think it is (if I understand correctly). We'll just have to wait and see (or use Ishiiruka).
There is a different solution in the pipes anyways if Ubershaders doesn't work out (Which it should.)

The idea is to use ubershaders while compiling the specialized shader on another thread. Even if ubershaders is slower it won't be slower long enough to matter.
Hey, thanks for the replies. The hack was already on unfortunately.
I would say that maybe the stutters happen because im playing on DX12, but like I said the stutters happened before that was even a thing.

Judging from your responses, I'll dilligently wait till that shader...thing is fixed.
Until then, you could just use Ishiiruka. There's no shader stutters there (see link in my sig).
No shader stutters there at the expensive of missing graphics while shaders are compiled. It's only really useful in games that suffer greatly and don't pre-render a lot of graphics.
