Maybe I'm starting to outgrow this series, but the more I hear about the new Zelda, the less I actually care. I'm sure it will be a great game. Most of the Zelda games were pretty damn good.

I just... I dunno. I might be burnt out on this honestly. I'm sure it will do some things differently, every Zelda game does. But at the end of the day, it's the same core system. meh

I respect that. After playing the witcher 3 and both expansions, I almost feel like saying "Zelda who?". Buuuut, somethings that have kept me interested are as follows.

1.The game is a piece of art stylistically. I'd say it's the most beautiful stylized game i've seen in a while, and I have no idea how the hell it will run on wii U after seeing all the grass blades moving in the wind and being manipulated in real time by link/Epona.

2. Aonuma  said they were questioning core mechanics in the 2014 reveal. Of coarse he didn't say how, but from what I've seen, I could speculate all day.

3. Im a sucker for open world games, and the idea of an open world zelda game has me excited. I think it's safe to assume they learned their lesson from twilight princess. I have a feeling that this world will have a shit ton to do. Aonuma said ages ago that he played a bit of skyrim as inspiration for this game, so im hopeing he took away some of it's good points.

4.Not only is there land to explore, but in previous gameplay clips, an ocean can be seen in the distance. The prospect of having windwaker sailing as well as exploration of the land is exciting to imagine.

5. Badass archery mechanics.

There is soooo many new mechanics too! :O

Wall climbing everything, collecting usable items such as apples and mushrooms for healing, and chopping trees to build fires, and the biggest change so far is the equipment system. No more "3 tunics and done/3 swords and done". Now you find clothes and weapons out in the wild in treasure chests, and weapons can break, meaning you have to constantly keep collecting new weapons. Pretty much, more rpg and survival elements have made there way to Zelda. This will defiantly make exploration worth while.
I felt like Helios until 1 hour ago.
The shown gameplay is really interesting. While Zelda TP and SS mostly reuse OOT mechanics, it seems like everything had been rethought. The game feels like Zelda 1 : all alone in a deserted and hostile open world, and game mechanics inherits many of the resent action adventure and rpg games (like tomb rider, the witcher, skyrim...), making it way more fresh and modern.
Definitively more hype than I thought.

The only problem I have thus far is 720p. It's painful to watch at somepoints on my 4k screen. Here's hopeing the nx version is 1080p at least. Smile

Yeah 1080p60 would be sweet. But rumors say that the NX will be powered by a new generation NVidia Tegra. I hope that's enough.
