Turn off panic handlers in Config > Interface.
If you're not crashing it's probably nothing the user has to be concerned about.

Ummm, the exact error message would be nice to see actually. In case it is something everyone runs into and we need to investigate it.

It literally just said error, the line is an assert ( _assert_(bpmem.genMode.numcolchans == xfmem.numChan.numColorChans); ) so it's saying the assert was false.

Sounds like D3D12 is spitting out some bad shader code. Good to know, but I suppose in this case it's not a big deal for you.

I kept turning AA and Screen Scaling back on after deleting GFX.ini and Dolphin.ini, as I thought it wouldn't affect it. Left them on proper default this time and it worked perfectly fine.
I'm sorry, this is all my fault and I should've tried that... sorry for wasting everyone's time, and thanks a lot IcemanSR and Helios
How do you set AA and screen scaling to their proper defaults? I'm having the same problem with Super Paper Mario at the prologue when Koopa's Castle fades out.
