Well... that's a bug in dolphin. It's detecting the 1.20 from the string "Build 21.20.16.4481" and assuming the driver is reporting GLSL 1.20.

Core/VideoBackends/OGL/Render.cpp:571 if someone has time to fix the bug.

thanks - anywhere i can report officially? github does not seem to be the place issues/bugs are being tracked?
I played around with some basic overclocking by increasing the voltage on the GPU and the overall TDP for both turbo boost and non-turbo boost which resulted in a locked 1080p@60fps in Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid Trilogy (Prime).
I only played the 20-30 min of each title but i had only one or twice where it dropped to 59 and then straight back to 60fps.
with this simple overclock Skyward also runs at 1080p@30fps with no dips in frame rate.

anyone know if there is a benchmark which is game based i can run to show the improvements with overclocking? I have seen the CPU benchmark but would like to try some benchmark based on part of an actual game if possible.

thanks -

Can you try running the new dolphin benchmark test on your machine with and without overclocking?

are you referring to this: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-new-dolphin-5-0-cpu-benchmark-results-automatically-updated--45007

i am unable to get a copy of luabench from either of the links in the post so i have not been able to run that test.

Odd. In the original post, under the "Windows" section, there's a link to a self extracting executable that installs a version of Dolphin with the test file in it.

Not sure what went wrong the first time, but i tried again and it worked. Scored 7m 30s.

Changing the watt from 45 -> 80 didn't make any difference and changing the iccMAX amp settings didn't either. It seems like just changing the basic power settings profile in windows to maximum performance yields the best results as the CPU sits at 3.31-3.32Ghz when running games pretty much at a flat line.
No matter what changes i have made in terms of overclocking i cannot get the CPU to go beyond 3.32Ghz at a consistent basis even though it's rated at 3.5Ghz turbo max.

But the story is the same: at 45W regular and 58W max turbo boost (maximum power profile enabled) the games i mentioned previously are playable at 1080p@60fps with VSync enabled.
