I'm also curious to know if this "Texture Forwarding" method Citra is using is able to be ported or implemented to other emulators like Dolphin, PCSX2, DeSmuME, etc...

I know the emulators I mentioned above can be upsaled (including DeSmuME using the unofficial "X432R" version) but thisĀ "Texture Forwarding" method seems to be a different way of doing it.

Any developer care to elaborate on this matter?

The first gamepaly is from Omega Ruby and as you can see the character outline is aliased out the ass. The second clip is from Pokemon X which seems to look a lot better than ruby! The last is a bit of hatsune miku. The rim lighting around the character looks reeeeealy good. Some of the stylized games are going to look fucking sweet in hd.
This is quite impressive. Getting the same goosebumps I had from the ppsspp reveal and updates.
