I'd recormends a skylake over haswell. The improved performance over needed power is very worth in those small cases. But Try to not use an ultra low voltage CPU. They are easy to cool, but so they haven't enough power. 35W+ is required. More is better...
You can preorder latest Intel gaming NUC now
It's very powerful , more like desktop replacement NUC (i7 6770HQ @ 3.5GHz 4 cores 8 threads with Iris Pro 580) but it's not cheap ($650)
And of course , if you don't mind Intel's well-known "bad driver"...
For gaming , I would get Nvidia/AMD GPU instead of Intel iGPU . That's why , I recommended the Alienware Alpha in the first place
The bad driver isn't really an issue if you stick with Windows or Linux. It's only a PITA in OS X.

The Alienware Alpha is a really good deal though.
I don't know the problem still exists or not but my main OS is Windows
I got black screen ingame (not the menu / intro) when I tried to run Samurai Warriors 3 on Intel HD 4600 (i5 4300M) . Nvidia GPU has no issue though
uh.... You should post that issue on the tracker Tongue
Doesn't matter ...Dolphin is not at fault here . Most games work fine on Intel iGPU and that should be enough IMO
Gamer doesn't game on iGPU anyway

This is probably your best shot that isn't super expensive.(i7-4770R Intel Iris Pro 5200)
They're honestly all pretty shitty. What sort of system are you looking to build that you need to use a single board computer?
