No, I was just generalizing. It goes in between 1 fps to 12-ish fps depending on data amount. This cutscene right now is literally running at 1 to 4-ish fps.

Do you guys suggest anything to edit in these settings to make the game faster? If you guys don't have specific suggestions, I heard that making it HLE instead of LLE makes it faster, but I don't know how to change the 6 GZ folders so that it doesn't automatically make it run LLE. Also, I don't know if it's automatically running LLE. Here is one GZ folder that has stuff that doesn't look like code for cheats. I found it in the GameSettings folder.
# GZLE01, GZLJ01, GZLP01 - The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker

[Core]
# Values set here will override the main Dolphin settings.

[EmuState]
# The Emulation State. 1 is worst, 5 is best, 0 is not set.
EmulationStateId = 4
EmulationIssues =

[OnLoad]
# Add memory patches to be loaded once on boot here.

[OnFrame]
# Add memory patches to be applied every frame here.

[ActionReplay]
# Add action replay cheats here.

[Video_Hacks]
EFBAccessEnable = True
EFBToTextureEnable = False

[Video_Settings]
FastDepthCalc = False

[Video_Stereoscopy]
StereoConvergence = 115

EDIT: I just changed added DSPHLE = True after [Core]

Hopefully this is done correctly. It's not tabbed, not sure if that affects Dolphin's code. Please feel free to correct my misconceptions.

Doubledit: Is Audio2X or OpenAL faster?

OMGYES!! I'm finally past this cutscene, after basically hours of work. Thanks for the help peeps. Unfortunately, the latest build of dolphin runs at literally a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 wavering fps. If anyone's willing to help me with that I'd really appreciate it. But for now I'm just gonna play on Dolphin 3.5-something now that I waited through the 2-fps cutscene of getting farore's pearl. Thanks a million! Smile
The latest development version will not enable LLE automatically. LLE used to be needed to get around problems in Wind Waker in the past (including in 4.0.2), but that has been fixed now. Unless you manually put LLE in a game INI or you set the general setting to LLE, you will be using HLE.

Just to make sure, you installed the redistributable, right? You didn't install all of Visual Studio?
Instead of manually changing the default GameINIs, it is better to use Dolphin's UI or override settings with your own GameINI. If you edit the default ones, you'll lose them when you upgrade Dolphin. (edit: more info on GameINIs)

What are your specs? I don't expect a Mac to have a very powerful CPU and GPU, but it shouldn't be running at 1-10fps… And are you running at 1x IR?
Please post pictures of your Dolphin Config tabs, as something wrong it happening here.
I'll just tell you guys what's checked and what's not, screenshotting is too much of a hassle.

GAMECUBE TAB: Nothing is checked

AUDIO TAB:
DSP Emulator Engine: DSP HLE emulation
Audio Backend: OpenAL
Latency: 2
Volume: 100%

INTERFACE TAB:

Anything else I didn't mention is unchecked.

Yes, I installed redistributable.

Also, it's a mac that's running Bootcamp (Windows 7). So it's not exactly as sluggish as it'd be on mac. From what I've heard Bootcamp windows 7 is actually supposed to be pretty fast.

Also, another question: by IR x1 do you if it's running in the default windowed version versus a larger windowed version or fullscreen?

Does that mean everything in the graphics config is unchecked?

Since it is a Mac, it will per definition be running as fast as on a Mac. We're talking about hardware, not the operating system.

IR is the internal resolution you set in the graphics settings. It's independent from the window size, unless you picked one of the Auto choices in the internal resolution dropdown.
The settings you've posted seem correct, but you still haven't provided your specs, so we have no way of knowing if you're running on a system that should emulate faster than 1-10 FPS or not… Running Dolphin on Windows is better than doing that on OS X, but it won't matter a lot if you have a slow computer.

You can see what IR you're running at in the graphics settings.

PS: Screenshotting is actually as easy as hitting the Print Screen key (if there's such a key) or using Windows 7's built-in tool, then `Ctrl+V`ing (so, pasting) into a site like imgur. Not exactly what I'd call a hassle when compared to typing it manually :p
OH, serially? I thought you had to paste it into MSPaint, export that, and then move it to imgur. Well, fuck me! O: Thanks for that info! (I'm new to pc as well in case you couldn't tell, I got bootcamp like 4 days ago)
Here's my specs, I think it should allow me to run things smooth, after all it's relatively smooth on Dolphin 3.5-something (runs at generaly 80-100%) whereas on the latest dev build it runs at 3-30%.

It's possible that your MacBook pro 13 (late 2011?) is overheating like most non-gaming notebooks do
Dolphin is pretty demanding and most non-gaming notebook can't handle it
Download and install Realtemp , run it along side with Dolphin for 5 mins and if possible , show me a screenshot of realtemp to see whenever your CPU is running at full speed or throttle down
