Hi,
So i'm new to dolphin, and I am currently looking for a gaming laptop. I think from what I have seen on the forum this laptop should run fine. However I wanted to get the opinions of you guys, I figure you could tell me possibly how well this laptop could run.
To start off I plan on running mainly Gamecube games such as the SSX games, the Tony Hawk games, Resident Evil 4, and Twilight Princess.

The Laptop is a Gigabyte P57W-SL1

The specs:

Intel Skylake Core i7-6700HQ (2.6GHz - 3.5GHz) Processor

16GB DDR4 1600MHz RAM (Two 8GB sticks)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 3GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

These are the basic specs of the laptop. If anyone has any thought on the laptop's quality i'd love to know. If you own the laptop I would love to also know your experience with it both running dolphin, and in basic processes.
Looks good to me. It has a dual cooling solution that should keep it from overheating when playing demanding games.
You won't have any problem with Dolphin as long as your laptop run at max speed (no throttle down)
My laptop can run a few Wii U games full speed btw
Overall , that Gigabyte is a good gaming laptop and not so heavy like most 17" lappy out there
I don't like 17" laptop . It does not fit most backpacks and it's hard to carry around . I would choose 14" instead but it just my opinion
