Did not remember seeing the OP specifying he booted with GC BIOS enabled, but that does make sense.

Games that don´t suffer the bug: Mario Kart Double Dash, Luigi´s Mansion, Legend of Zelda Wind Waker (GC), Super Mario Sunshine.
I couldn´t test more games.
Mario Party 7
Also noticed that most games arent as smooth as with xfb off. Some audio hiccups here and there, that are not present with xfb off.
BTW cpu usage, reported by w10 task admin, with xfb on or off on mp7 is 5 to 10% and at 1.16 to 2ghz, barely goes to 4.5ghz.. Is that real? What an optimization dolphin team made!
Mario party 8 is also affected. Game table runs at 15-18fps. Turning off virtual xfb, goes to 25fps (pal)
In game is 34 vs 50fps as you can see in pictures.
Among the fps drop, there is some audio hiccups too. Only with xfb virtual on. Probably caused by the unstable fps.
There's something going on with Virtual XFB. This seems bad.
Is it also happening on the Hybrid XFB PR?
Virtual XFB has a really weird quirk in OpenGL when playing Metroid Prime: Trilogy. The game will flicker like crazy with some framerate fluctuations when using exclusive fullscreen and virtual XFB, but if you play it in windowed mode, there's no flickering, and it stops the CPU/GPU thread desync from squishing the aspect ratio without any impact on framerate. Tested this with the latest build, but I haven't done any extensive research into previous builds.
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.0 GHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC 4 GB GDDR5
Build: 4.0-9289
This is due to a CPU desync. For a while it Virtual XFB could get around this, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case any more.
