GT 740 GDDR5 (Kepler) is one generation behind GTX 750 (Maxwell) . Its power consumption is higher yet much slower and not cheaper than GTX 750 (non-ti version )
Why on earth would you want such a card ?
Thanks for your input! You're obviously entirely correct; the GTX 750 ti appears to be a much better choice. I didn't realise I could put such a powerful card in my old Optiplex 330 DT.
Would upgrading to this card make a difference for Dolphin emulation, or would it be meaningless to even bother given that I'm stuck with the rather pedestrian q9650 @3ghz?
