I didn't expect a new version to fix your issue. I honestly have no idea how you're hitting that or why.

Heh, i have a history of bizarre issues. Once my registry pointed dolphins user configuration stuff do a directory that I only used on a different computer... this was on a totally separate machine. Which reminds me, are there any nukers for dolphin? I don't know how thorough the uninstaller is.
For anyone who's coming back to this thread, I managed to fix my problem. I had to dig through my registry and remove anything related to dolphin's core directory and it's documents folder after using the 4.0.2 uninstaller and removing any dev builds I had.
after that, rebooted, downloaded the latest dev build, and it worked like a charm.

If you are having this problem and decided to tinker with your registry, make sure you back the registry up first. You can absolutely destroy your computer beyond the point of repair if you mess up.
Not really, you can just re-install the OS. But all of your files will probably be gone.

I'd rather exaggerate the gravity of the situation a bit instead of having anyone blame me for a mistake because they didn't think it would be that bad. Wink
