once mapped install a newer build http://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/dolphin-master-4.0-9122.apk right over the top. As for settings i suggest you read the forums and watch youtube vids. I can confirm this build is working excellent with mario sunshine for gc and newer super mario bros wii with the dolphin bar and official wiimote.

i got my shield tv and i managed to load up luigis mansion.. but the controller doesnt work to work with dolphin.. and when i try to change controls it says coming soon..?

The UI is currently being rewritten (hence this "coming soon"), so, just download an old Dolphin APK (4.0-7xxx should work), configure your bindings here and then update to the latest version (your controller settings will be carried over)...

I downloaded the older version as you suggested, but when i try to configure the controls it says unfortunately dolphin has stopped working...

Hmm, that's strange. Try clearing app data (and remove dolphin-emu folders from your internal memory/SD card) then configure your controllers, after that, update...

Warning: removing dolphin folder on internal memory/SD card will wipe your saves, to keep them, delete everything except GC and Wii subfolders

I got the controller to work with luigis mansion but the emulator is lagging like crazy.. the sound is delayed and distorted and luigis head is missing??

Upgrade to the latest build.

The old build is only required for controls configuration.

And nvidia gamestream or steam home streaming is the best solution for Dolphin on your TV without just hooking your PC up to it. The Shield TV only plays a handful of games really well, with the rest being pretty laggy.

How do you use gamestream, with dolphin? No joypad input on the game selection screen and I find even if I start the game on the PC itself then move to the shield no inputs are registered in game.

input is pretty much the only dicey thing I've run into.

What I do is have the host handle the controllers. It's not ideal for most setups, but with wireless controllers it's not that bad.

Launch the stream, use the host-connected controller to play.
