An android benchmarking app
It's been 2 days already, I'm surprised no one has posted their findings with the Snapdragon variant yet.
My first post ever. I wanted to contribute to the topic. I got my galaxy s7 snapdragon variant this past Friday from sprint. Ive tried the latest Android build of dolphin with two games: Paper Mario TTYD and Windwaker. Neither game is close to playable. 15-19 fps on paper mario and windwaker crashes before title sceen fully loads. I used the standard settings basically.

Edit: Just to clarify, I was getting fps in the teens the first time I installed dolphin for paper mario and got all the way to the main area in Rogueport and I just had enough. After that, i tried several builds and uninstalled dolphin several times, since then it keeps getting slower.
15-19 fps on paper mario? That's quite good Big Grin
It "works" with paper mario, but the character models dont really load properly (there is like a black planel behind each eye and stuff like that), the audio is all buggy and its just not enjoyable. Seriously, everyone needs to forget about the possibility of a mobile device playing dolphin for a while, at least that's what it looks like to me.
There are a few games that work alright, but yes until drivers get better (And that's still looking like a big bag of lols) it's not going to be too fun.
just seems to me that the drivers are just not broken, the manufacturers, like Google, ARM or Qualcomm desire them to be like that and as long anything else is not broken they won't change their driver.
What you mostly get to hear from them is that app developers have to fix their apps to run properly on their drivers.
