Has anyone tried Dolphin on the new Galaxy S7 yet?
I have the Exynos version and when I tried Twilight Princess on the latest version of Dolphin it crashed after the splash screens and also all virtual buttons are squashed in the top left corner of the screen.
May you try single core? IIRC there is a dual core issue after the bootscreen in ZTP. Slow GPU drivers make this issue worse.
The buttons being in the corner is a problem that isn't device-specific. For now, you can get around it by using the controller configuration that's available in certain older Dolphin builds.
even with singlecore, crash right after splash screens.
I tried Windwaker, same problem.

are Mali GPUs even compatible at all?
According to Antutu its only GL ES 3.1 compatible, not 3.2.

tried an older build, 5672, also not working.

So I'm having bad luck here I guess.
I read somewhere that the new Mali drivers broken dolphin in MM.

For that razón I'm stuck in lollipop 5.1.1 in my S6
Well I don't think I can put Lollipop on an S7.

We work even better on GL ES 3.2, as we can use some of the new features. However, this doesn't tell anything about those features being implemented well within the drivers. Historically, we're hit very hard by mobile GPU vendors. Seems like they're not able to implement a good OpenGL environment.

So, there is a good chance that dolphin works fine, but your GPU driver just crashes....
So I guess theres nothing I can do about that.
I was actually quite excited to try dolphin on my new phone but I guess my dreams just got crushed xP
You can try to randomly disable some extension. I guess the broken feature is a new GL ES 3.2 one. Just set everything to false here: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/blob/master/Source/Core/VideoBackends/OGL/Render.cpp#L484

then exynos variant not compatibles with ES 3.2.That's bad.

hope the qualcomm variant support ES 3.2, buffer storage is super necesary acording to developers.
