Hello can anyone help me i am new to dolphin and have just got zelda TP for the wii and i have run it and have gone through the cutscenes and am at the start of the game where you need to find epona and i cannot move... not with keyboard nor gampad... can anyone please tell me how to fix

you'll need a wiimote to be able to play that game (Zelda TP uses the wiimote's swing for the sword)
So there is no way to play without wiimote?
So if i get the GC version instead of the Wii i will then be able to move and play with the keyboard and or my gamepad is this correct?
you can play zelda TP wii with the keyboard... goto the wiimote plugin settings and look at what each button is assigned to on the keyboard...
to move, use the numpad keys...

yea the gc version will work, and the above works too
