Since when do you care that nobody cares? Half the changes you've made to dolphin have been extremely controversial. I thought that you were doing all of this stuff for yourself.
I actually got libdrc to run (with just a little bit commented out because it spammed the console when I moved analogue sticks on my XBox pad, and I couldn't read the actual error messages), but have no idea how to actually get it to connect to the console. The thing it links to to do that it a massive library full of useful things for connecting a real gamepad to a linux PC, but it didn't mention how to connect a linux PC to the console. I eventually gave up, as I was only doing it because some people were desperate for 8-player smash, and they seemed to be coping fine with 7-player without me.
Why did you choose Linux over Windows? Easier to create an access point using the system wifi card?
Do I look like I care about Windows?
idk, that's why I ask.
I'm actually waiting for the day Dolphin drops windows support due to its page granularity restriction.
What's page granularity?

That's nice and all, but it's probably the reason no one cared.

I mean, it's totally reasonable and easier to do on Linux, but it's like saying no one is coming to your restaurant that is in the middle of the Sahara.

I think it was something related to this?
