I just downloaded the latest Android version on my Edge+ but when I go to play a game the controls are all bunched on top of each other in the corner of the screen. How do I fix this??

That always happens and is a common issue, unfortunately input settings are temporarily removed until they are repaired with new changes.
They should really fix that issue by making the default positions at least crunched into the center of the screen if possible, but fully accessible so inputs can all be touched until then.

So... What can I do? Just wait indefinitely?
You can use a build from like 1-2 months ago; those still have the old input settings menu, and the settings will still carry over.

i figured it out!, you install and old version like someone said it already like this one dolphin-master-4.0-8340.apk,change the layout, and then install the latest build OVER the old one without uninstalling the old obviously, and make sure right side of the layout is closer to the middle, cause sometimes it bugs out, once it bugs out, it spreads out nicely,
Bump. New phone (OPO3), happy about speed, but that trick does not work at all anymore. Where are these settings saved to? If theres no GUI way how about setting coordinates manually?

In-game, from the pulldown menu, go to Configure Controls -> Edit Layout. This was an old post and the setting has been added back for a while now.
Noticed d-pad inverted in La-Mulana Wii. Right d-pad is up, down is left. Maybe it's just one title, SeannyM could you confirm?

If you use the gamecube overlay work fine.

Wimote + nunchuk also have inverted controls in some games.

An option for select vertical/horizontal Wiimote would be great.

There is a horizontal Wiimote option... It works fine on my end. We decided against the option to have horizontal Wiimote + Nunchuk because that doesn't make sense. If you have inverted controls with Nunchuk, the game probably doesn't use the Nunchuk.
