My consolations for your Shield TV being bricked, even though I have never once experienced a fully bricked device,I only came close to it with xposed causing boot loops on an x86 tablet and the previous cheaply made RCA Mali one outright dying.

Okay,Super Paper Mario has never worked beyond the Bowser scene in the prologue on both the master and upon recent testing with the performance build, the same buzzing freeze as usual.
I even made a game ini with the "UseBBox = " set to True and False with it freezing either way.
I read somewhere that it was broken in newer builds when it worked fine in builds older than the Android version.
Is there a way to use chunks from certain builds to make specific games always run correctly?

On PC this feature automatically gets enabled via the GameINI files, but since we don't ship those on Android it never gets turned on.
Also FYI, the feature requires ES 3.1(Or desktop GL) in order to properly support that feature. Also since I've limited Snapdragon devices to ES 3.0 then they would forcibly have that feature disabled on that particular hardware.

so only need to copy the PC GameConfig folder to android?

my device is an galaxy s6 ES 3.1 + AEP

Great work with the last build (9023), 2-3 more frame for  Metroid Prime and same for PN03.

Yeah, still some low hanging fruits available. But I fear we'll run out of them soon. Propper carry tracking would be a worthfully fuit, but it's hanging quite high...

Edit: did you check that this speedup is not because of 4.0-9012 ?

The 9012 granted 44 frame in two specific areas of Metroid Prime, the new one grants 47 fps. A couple of frame added also in PN03
It's strange what happens raising the cpu override. For example:

PN03:
Override 25%, 30 fps
Override 40%, 30 fps for a minute, than only 20. I checked the cpu temperature and it was low

I noticed this degradation for almost every title with higher override.
I am a novice when it comes to the tech side of emulators. Just out of curiousity, how would one start to debug certian games on android?
