Yes, there are different guitar models as well as dongle models, and they likely won't connect to each other (unless there's some hardware mod I don't know of, all I know is that apart xbox, those instruments are x-console, it's just a jumper identifying the console it plays on, I can switch my MPA from PS3 to Wii via a dip switch I soldered, doesn't work for xbox because it needs a special chip... because microsoft).

Dongles are not cheap though, especially when searching for a specific model... Good luck....
Thank you for your assistance. I ordered a brand new one (I have something very specific I need to test in Dolphin,) so it should come with the appropriate dongle. If you have any other warnings or tips for me, please let me know. I've probably spent 100 dollars just because I became curious in testing these games!
Hardware-wise for RB wii, not much to be honest. You should know everything you need to know (different models for 1, 2-3, and 4, any USB mic should work(though I don't think it's the case with dolphin, heard the official ones don't even work)

If you have a specific question though I'll be happy to try to answer, as long as I'm around here Tongue
Well, USB Mic support is different from USB Controller support. Hopefully we'll get that working someday.
