I think its because the 808 has the low power cores and dolphin is using them instead of the two higher power cores.

Well i can debunk that theory because i have the g4 and have run a cpu monitier before while running dolphin. The a57's were used

I'll add this could still be an issue for the V10 as it has other performance issues that the G4 didn't despite the similar specs.

For some reason the V10 freezes if you watch 1440p youtube videos, while the G4 doesn't. The V10 also refuses 60fps youtube videos.
I'll try it myself right now

What cpu monitor did you use?

If i remember correctly i think it was tinycore

I have the pro version which lets me display the frequency and select it to show from only certain cores.
