I manipulated the nightvision2.txt shader to make a simpleblur effect for 2D games. Hope someone will get some use out if it. =)

If anyone could point me in the direction of a 2xSaL Smart, 2xSaI (Kreed) or HQ2xS (Nitsujia) shader for dolphin I'd appreciate it.

Also if anyone can tell me who to give credit to for the code I changed please let me know.

The winkawaks emulator offers the biggest panel of filters, I assume the guys behind that emulator knows their job so maybe ask them?

By the way, any chances, once you've made it through with dolphin, you may try adding the filters for Ps2 emulator? In Epsxe there is the 2xSai filter, and it works great on 3D textures Smile (and 2D games off course).

2xSaI isn't the best, there's even better ones, like HQX. Or you just have to go higher (4x, 8x, etc.)
But since textures/sprites in GC/Wii games are pretty good already, 2xSaI is probably enough for most people.

Doesn't matter what's best. I like the look of the dither.
Now that looks like something I'd like to implement using OpenCL.

I'm glad to see people making filters like this, but I personally don't like the look of this particular one.

This is by no means meant to be a put down for the op. I'm sure a lot of people will like and use this, I'm just saying that to me it looks overly blurry. Like I'm staring at my computer screen without my glasses being on Wink

Well I prefer 2xSai because the effect isn't as prononced as the HQX ones. Usually I try them all depending on the game, and then I choose one.

If these shaders could be coded for Dolphin it would be great!
