Well i'm experiencing problems with 2 games on Dolphin at the moment. The version i'm using of Dolphin is....well its the x32 SVN revision R4311. Firstly Metriod Prime 2 Echoes(NTSC U version) is having sound corruption during startup and some(i think) textmapping problems.......here is a screenshot link

The game also experiences fps of a bit below 20 constantly upon reaching the menu(I have not tried going in game just yet)
As for my computer specs....well i'm using Windows XP Media center edition service pack 2(32 bit). A NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX graphics card. Direct X 9.0C. 2GB of ram. As for emulator settings.....Well i enabled dual core(i have a dual core, which is rated at 3.80GHz, so no biggie there) I've tried using both plugins with several different settings on both, nothing seems to have any effect on the problem.
The other game i'm having problems with can be discussed after we work on Metroid prime 2 Echoes.
Sound corruption is expected with MP2. The Ucode that translates the sound currently is incomplete. You're getting no different results than anyone else there.
As far are your fps, you didn't mention your CPU TYPE or MODEL, so regardless of the fact that it's clocked at 3.8Ghz, it could be a super slow CPU at 3.8Ghz, and all you're doing is turning a turtle into a faster turtle... have you ever seen a fast turtle?
And for text corruption, you have to enable Safe Texture Cache. best to just force it without having to worry about it by right clicking the game in the main screen and going to properties.
BTW, your link doesn't work.
Err not sure i know where to look up the model of my cpu, but its Intel pentium 4. Sorry about the link, i must have grabbed the wrong one, try this one
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u45/rmcin329/Metriodprime2.png (If that one doesn't work, then i dont know) In any case enabling that option did indeed fix the text problem. If i didn't mention it before i do have a dual core, and that option enabled in the emulator. Anywho if any info is still missing then make sure to include where exactly i should look for it, and i'll see what i can do.
sorry but thats not very powerful if it's a p4... I mean it willl run but not well
How about putting in the general faq, PENTIUM 4 CPU'S ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY DOLPHIN IN FULLSPEED
In b4 daco
Alright then, well i'll just deal with what fps i can get for that game. The other game i'm having some problems with(not speed related this time

) is Mario Party 6. This time the problem is when using the Direct 3D9 graphics plugin. On the mini game(haven't gotten all that far yet, so its unknown if other mini games will have problems) Jump the Gun things start out normally but then when the screen splits in half to show my opponents as well, my half of the screen goes black, and theirs(lower half) takes up a bit more then half of the screen, as shown in this screenshot here
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u45/rmcin329/Marioparty6.jpg
Using then OpenGL graphics plugin solves this problem, but creates numerous glitches in the text boxes(though its not the text itself thats glitchy) that often times show up when playing. Those glitches are almost non existent with the Direct 3DL plugin. Anywho, the main question here is how to fix my problem in the mini game?
about the screenshot
that is a problem with the resolution and the aspect ratio , try changing your res and the aspect ratio in the general configs ( idk , It just happened me once )
i already thought of that and tried doing as much, it didn't change the end result, which is my half of the screen being black.
That was the resolution i tried first, both fullscreen and windowed, same result. In fact i've now gone through all the resolutions in both full screen and windowed mode, with the same result.
