Pretty unlucky I guess Big Grin

BTW, in case Im doing something wrong, should I select winusb or libusb with zadig?

Yes, restarted and installed driver every time I changed bt adapter.

I have another one Big Grin Will test. Edit. Another CSR, dont sync at all.

BTW, the no resync problem on the partially working dongles I have, are we sure is not a dolphin thing? Cause if the game is running, I can even take out the batteries and turn on again and will sync. But closing the game and relaunching the game will need a sync button on both sides. And also is not the normal blink, denititely is communicating with the dongle (dongle light blink one time and turn off the wiimote) and looks like communication is closed when wants to be established.

Pretty sure. In passthrough mode Dolphin is only responsible for transferring data back and forth (basically). I even checked the SYSCONF, and I can see that the paired Wiimotes are definitely still there, so the problem seems to be with the adapter. The Wiimote still remembers the pairing, and so does the emulated Wii (since the pairings are still saved in the NAND), but then the connection is refused.

Since it works without any issues on some adapters, it's reasonable to believe that this is the adapter's fault.
Remember to give the bluetooth adapter line of sight! The Wiimote is quite demanding of bluetooth, and if there are things in the way (like your desk if the adapter on is the back of your PC) packets can be lost which will interfere with connectivity and wiimote audio. Line of sight isn't necessary, but it can really help.
Thanks again.

Yes, was trying pretty near to the bt adapter.

The broadcom ones are BCM2045. The one on the wii, it´s BCM2045A. Not sure if we can get any closer than that. This are the best BT adapters I d ever tried. Even on win7 time, were the only one working with wii pair and supporting permanent pairing of more than one controller.

I´ll wait for a compatibility list.

Always hate the BT problems, but since windows 10 stack, dolphin works pretty good, no need to re sync or anything. Was just missing speaker audio, that works perfect with passthrough. But at this time, the hassle is big Sad

Hope some good adapters will be compatible. If only the cheap ones are, I thin I ll have to pass. BT signal on cheap ones is cr*p, using more than one controlller is even worse for a living room enviroment.
Guys, I made a wii bt to pc usb.

Will report later.
Well, the wii bt module Works fine. no resync problems.

But signal it s just weak. Wonder why on wii with the same adapter, it s so much better.

As soon as I connect a second controller, losing packets begin and lag on controller is very noticeable. Even controllers are disconnected by the lack of signal. Im sitting at 2 meters from the adapter. Wiimotes are genuine.
Guys, since we have Access to the real deal of bt communicating with games, cant we use that to improve emulation mode?
If someone is interested in working on the emulated BT mode, sure.

But even then, there will likely be limitations that are simply "by design" and cannot be overcome when you have to go through the host's Bluetooth stack.
Thanks. I hope so.

With windows 10 there fewer limitations than before. Main problems are speaker audio with non tr and generic wiimotes not working at all.

Btw, I d tried speaker audio with wii bt module (on emulated mode) and is crackling like with any other bt adapter. So, it s just an emulated code bug.
Yeah, it's an issue with either the emulated BT code in Dolphin, the host system (HID stuff, or Bluetooth stack), or in some cases the adapter. Yeah, there's simply so much that can go wrong.
