Hi, checked that. I think you are close, but problem is still there. Compared hashes to make sure.
BTW one button resync doesnt work if you close the game too. No need to close dolphin. After pc reboot, one button resync works until you close the game or dolphin. So, it s a command dolphin is sending on game shutdown to the bt adapter.
Then that sounds like your adapter doesn't like the reset command, but there is no alternative to that, since removing it will make Wiimotes stay connected even after closing Dolphin.
PR 4244 allows games to shut down the adapter more properly by disconnecting Wiimotes first, but it may not be merged soon enough for the passthrough PR.
Either way, I know some adapters don't like being reset like that, and there are not a lot of solutions… especially when it is something games can do too and which works just fine on the real hardware.
But my adapter is the wii bt module.
And sept16 Works fine on wii bt module. I see no point merging this when still doesnt work on real wii bt module. unless it will never work. Still think dolphin is resetting the wii bt module in a way it shouldnt be.
Lets wait for jmc47 confirmation.
Well, that'd be weird because it works for JMC47…
Same VID/PID as any other Wii Bluetooth module, as far as I know, so the link key workaround is completely skipped and shouldn't cause any issues.
As I said, the only way to find out if it's really caused by the link key stuff instead of just guessing is to build a version without the workaround. Commit 9c5a54f can be used for that
Yes, will keep trying to compile. So we can see whats going wrong.
Hi leo. Pr build from oct04 solved this problem

Now resync fine with one button press, both when closing the game or closing dolphin.
Only weird thing is, when I close the game hitting alt f4 it says shutting down, but stays there, I have to hit alt f4 again to go back to dolphin ui.
I have no idea what changed in the latest, merged implementation of BT passthrough that fixed your issue, but glad to hear it now works as it should for you.
About the graceful shutdown issue, that's an unrelated PR (and issue). It looks like Dolphin may not be updating the SYSCONF properly. Could you send me your SYSCONF file? It's at /shared2/sys/SYSCONF in your Wii NAND.
