Nice ^_^
I remember when good ol' skid got any sound working for the first time... back then some said it might never be possible to get correctly working wiimote audio due to bluetooth data bandwidth limitations or some such.
Just a bummer it only works on the -TR wiimotes, I only have the old ones Sad
Do they work so differently?
Regular Wiimotes are unchanged by any of this.
so will they make an upgraded dolphin-bar?
That sucks. Non TR remotes used to be the prefered remote. Now it's the opposite.
So, only on Windows 8+? Sad
For now, unfortunately, yes. It might work with a different BT stack tho (not using the one provided by Windows itself), but even that has shown to have the same issues with Wiimote sound.

Yep! The DolphinBar and especially the Toshiba Stack (higher quality bluetooth) benefit from these changes too.

I have a coworker that pathologically says, "Hey! Listen!" each time she encounters a problem.  This article picture just bridged two things in my life that I didn't want connected.  Thanks... Dodgy .  Incidentally, I haven't played any Ocarina of Time since working at my current job...I wonder why?
Does non TR remotes have any chance to play good sound a day ?
