... and have forced window compositing that adds 3 frames of input lag when running in windowed or borderless fullscreen mode? No thanks.

Where is the Vulkan API, Vulkan-enabled GPU drivers for Win7/Linux and the Vulkan backend for Dolphin? Smile
Firstly i don't use either of the fullscreen modes and about Vulkan i don't really know or care about it because i hate OpenGL for me the next gen for me is like the annoying gen DX is much better but for Mac and linux you sadly have to deal with it.
It's working again!

Such a joy to run around lake Hylia without slowdowns!

Just uploaded a new version, with several fixes to rendering. Depressed Osaka, this should fix the regression you're seeing, and I'm guessing they will fix the other issues as well - could everyone who has seen these double check they've been fixed?

Thanks - added a fix for this, see the first post for details. Does that fix it for you?

Edit: Depressed Osaka, great - is that on the 'v0.90' build?

The whole point of Vulkan was that it scrapped literally the entirety of OpenGL and started fresh. It's very similar to DirectX 12, as both are closely based off Mantle (MS licenced some stuff from AMD so they could copy it, whereas Vulkan is literally the result of open-sourcing Mantle), and, unlike old OpenGL, game developers are allowed on the committee specifying it, meaning it's got what they want as a first-class feature. While your points were totally valid a year ago, the point of Vulkan being distinct from regular OpenGL was to get rid of them.
With this optimization I am trying to now figure out what the cheapest CPU I can get for a Media Centre PC to run dolphin at just 100%. I figure since the resource heavy stuff is passed on to GPU something like an i3 may no longer be necessary for dolphin. Can a build be done for say $200? Or even one of those Intel NUC PC with a DX12 Intel HD graphics compatible card.
