All other backends disable vsync while pressing TAB Tongue
Yeah, that's my point, DX12 should also disable vsync while tab is pressed.

Thanks for reporting - I'm not able to repro this on my system though.. are you running the game full-screen? And your CPU speed is set to 'unlimited', and vsync is enabled in graphics settings?

Interesting, thanks for checking. I look forward to tracking this down..

Thanks!

Someone reported that DX12 backend isn't properly scaling resolution.

@Ramoth: That link doesn't have anything in it about that - at least to an admin/mod like me who can see everyone's deleted posts and it throws off the page numbers! You should link to the specific post by right clicking the post number and copying the URL it gives you. It will look like this: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-dolphin-dx12-backend?pid=397666#pid397666 And it will direct the clicker to the specific post you are after them to see.

Yes, it's running in fullscreen, this bug doesn't happen in windowed mode. CPU speed is set to 100%, but you should note that pressing tab is supposed to override any speed limiter. If I change only the vsync config while letting all the others as they are, it goes beyond full speed while tab is pressed, so vsync is where your problem lies.

It's the second post of the last page.

For me Dx12 disables Vsync while pressing TAB key like the others plugin...

Are you running in fullscreen mode? In windowed mode, it also works for me, but not in fullscreen mode.

Hey that's probably me... I think I was wrong about that. I had that impression comparing dx12 to dx11 on the ishiiruka build, where to me dx12 looked blurrier compared to dx11 on the same 3x internal resolution... But I can't reproduce it.

In full-screen DX12 still bypasses Vsync, but caps the maximum fps with the max fps selectable (120 fps) instead of the unlimited fps setting of the windowed mode
