Never said that.
I said it might be in 5.0
It might not.

Worst case, it'll probably be in a development build after 5.0
EDIT: Sorry I was pretty much just posting this to correct my earlier comment that there would be no way this would be in 5.0

well @armada give the pull request the 5.0 milestone tag and @delroth also said that it could be merged before 5.0 on the git pr page

That it can be merged before 5.0 doesn't mean that it's guaranteed to be merged before 5.0, and neither does the 5.0 milestone tag.
No luck with Fermi gpu yet? any unofficial drivers???, I have GF119 apparently which just fc Dolphin with dx12.

It is the missing real xfb emulation for harry poter and batman, not sure about simpson.
Hi all,
I've posted a new version on the OP (v0.97). This has undergone a decent amount of refactoring/bug-fixes to get this merge-worthy. Would appreciate anyone who is running this to try out the new build, even if the current builds are working fine - want to make sure nothing regressed.

meantime keep up the great work! very interested to hear that this speed is just the DX12 common backend, never mind any new features -> this will work on many cards, totally worth including in the main builds IMHO
-suspect this plugin will give folk a reason to upgrade to Win10 rather than the other way round
Thanks for reporting this - one of the changes (better tracking of CPU/GPU timelines) in this build should address this - can you reply back if this is fixed? It is the last known correctness issue :-).

Yep - the missing features are still Perf queries, Real XFB, and the GPU bounding box. Those are on hold until this gets merged, don't want to churn the code.
@hdcmeta: I have a bug to report. In all the other backends, if you hold tab, even with vsync enabled, the game will go over 60 fps if your system can handle it. In DX12 it doesn't go beyond 60 fps, even if your system has power to spare.

Hi bud thanks for update -sorry to say but polygon flickering still there -sometimes on background, sometimes on the track...
Thanks for the new update hdcmeta!! DX12 is really amazing for Mario Kart Wii, keep up the good work
