i tried 3 times to get through this. So here's the sitch: "The Deku tree asked me to get that leaf off his branch. but every time that cutscene ends(black screen) it just hangs"

Wind Waker : Has anybody found a way way to get rid of the black screen while using the telescope for the fist time.

I cannot use open GL as my card supports only open GL 2.0.

Is there any way out

PS: I am using Win 32 system

FOUND A WAY: it is easy to think about - blind fold method to overcome the telescope blacking out issue

Make sure u stand next to link' sister and make use of free viewing '^' button. Make sure ur viewing the post box. u have to note that u once u press 'B' and come out of '^' the VIEWING WILL MAP TO LINKS plane of view

Following is the 2D mapping of the scenario (viewing from right )

So u will have to tap up twice(or once) on the keyboard while using the telescope .
So change to telescope and tap up button twice. Link's sis will say " bro u have to zoom in" - then u know u r on the right track

SO u zoom in and out at this point (though u cannot see anything). sis will say postman look sweird look in the sky.SO tap the down button on the keyboard say 4 ot 5 times and the screen will chang eto big bird and u can contnue playing hte game.

I have the saved memory card if anyone wants. But 16 MB is alot to upload
