You can also check Skip EFB Access from CPU and set Texture Cache Accuracy to Fast. Setting the fullscreen resolution to 512x384 is strange and shouldn't be done, but it shouldn't be causing any slowdowns either.

They only work with a small number of PC DVD drives. A more reliable way to rip games is running CleanRip on a Wii.

Hi JosJuice,

Thanks for your quick reply!
So, I decided to just use the Dolphin emulator instead of 'dumping' my current Wii game.
I also changed all the settings like you said, and there's still a noticeable lag, however it's improved. Thank you very much Smile

Before writing my first post, I actually tried the most recent Dolphin emulator, and every time I downloaded it, it said something was missing and it didn't work. So I started using Dolphin 4.0.2 and that's when the sound lag became extremely obvious. I searched the internet and found that someone had the same problem, (about a half second sound delay) and they said that when they used Dolphin 3.0, there wasn't a sound delay, which I've discovered is actually true. Big Grin
So now I'm using the oldest version, as the more recent ones seem to never work for me Undecided

There's still a speed delay. Are there any other settings/something I can download to keep the speed at 100%?
If you look at the top of https://dolphin-emu.org/download/, there's a link to what you need to download to run the recent development builds.

What? Games need to be dumped before you can run them in Dolphin.

Actually, recently I bought an SD Card as I wanted to back up one of my games on to the Wii menu, just in case my CD stopped working. I watched a YouTube video and followed all the instructions (downloading the Homebrew Channel & the USB Loader GX) and was wondering, what do I need to do to play it on my laptop? I'm completely clueless when it comes to these things haha. You said to use CleanRip right? How would I get it on my Wii?
