Hello,
i changed my windows-system on ma htpc (where everything worked fine) to linux now,
but the intel gpu seems not to like opengl.
i installed the newest mesa-drivers and tried intel microcode drivers and gpu drivers,
but everytime i start for example mario kart, it has massive problems.
like this: (edit: it's not from my current system. But thats how it looks with dolphin 4.0.2 and Intel hd 4400)

is there still no solution for this problem? the artikel on Dolphin-OpenGL:Hall of Fame/Shame is some years old.

if nothing helps i will buy a cheap nvidia-graphics-card, but i would rather not.

if smbd knows help, it would be great!

thanks
Why are you using such an old version of dolphin?

4.0.2. It's the latest stable i think?

The latest stable is super old and outdated. Try with a recent dev revision (at the top of the downloads page).
Sorry I looked at the picture, but 4.0.2 is still really old.

OK. Thx. Will try.
Depending of your Linux distro, you should be able to manually update Mesa, potentially fixing that problem...
I use Ubuntu. Dolphin showed some dependency problems yesterday with the newest revisions. So I let it be. But i will try later and post here if this worked
The intel linux drivers are very well, and also well tested for dolphin (but maybe skylake). Just try it, it works fine here Big Grin

btw, this screenshot was on mesa 8.X, right now, there is 11.X. Don't treat the first implementation of a very uncommon (in this old days) feature as their bad quality. This bug was fixed some days later on their development builds...

Edit: What's the output of "glxinfo"? Maybe your driver installation did fail.
first. i tried to install the developers versions... but i found no way.
to install the debs directly got me some livavcodec and libav-extra-codec-errors.
after adding the ppa and installing synaptics i was able to install a 5.0-version. this works without those very nasty and massive graphical errors shown in the picture, but i had some other little errors in the middle of the screen
even when i disabled all tweaks to get a faster emulator-experience these errors were still there.
now i am trying to get the latest developers-version via "apt-get dolphin-emu-master" but after installing this i don't find a starter and "dolphin-emu" or "dolphin-emu-master" in terminal
doesn't help either....

i will do the glxinfo part later and post it. thx
