- Pair the Wiimote
- Connect
- Launch Dolphin
- Open the the Controller panel
- Press refresh - the controller should buzz and show a single LED
- Now it connects to the games.

Instruction on what to do with El Capitan or later are here. You have to find out the BT address and then decode from there:

Yeah, I could not get this to work. My ASCII passcode is â, which is not being accepted. Any ideas why?

Thanks in advance!
Was your decoded ASCII character(s) similar to mine? My address is 00 18 00 2E 11 F0. Am I doing the decoding correctly?
I was misled into thinking that the problem was with pairing when it appears to actually be with the Wii Motionplus and Skyward Sword. I'm able to play Okami just fine.

I somehow managed to pair my Wiimote without entering a passcode. I haven't messed around to see if this will work in Dolphin while ignoring the System Preference pane, but I imagine it will.
