I just tested it out, and the results are affirmative.
Though in TP the controls are inverted.

it also works for me in Wind Waker in Dragon's roost i was stuck on around 15 fps in the dungeon but it jumped to about 26 with it on
i noticed nothing? (except that Z:TP crashed on DX)
Wow, the game runs at 8FPS without it and when it is enabled it runs at 30FPS.
its a miracle.
instantly i got 30fps on hyrule field(more then full speed on pal !) with native resolution when it was below 10 before.
doesn't work with other games for me.
at least i dont got any effect in z:ww, lotr, 1080 or baldurs gate.
I get nearly full speed even with all the bells and whistles enabled such ad AA, AF at a resolution of 1280 x 1024 with this hack enabled on Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Controls are inverted in Wii version only, GC version works just well.
And well, it really gives great boost

But we can say goodbye to minimap

Two things need to happen before we can hope to see the minimap - first efb copy to ram need to be implemented in direct3d. And second, devs need to figure out this bug and then fix it so even without using the hack there is no slowdowns, because even if efb is implemented, there is no map with hacks on
