Which makes me wonder... how on Earth did he manage to make Cemu be able to boot games and have 3D graphics in them? A even a small group alone wouldn't be able to achieve that much success within a short time.

Could it be possible that Exzap is using portions of Dolphin's code as well as wiiu-emu's code? I really can't determine anything by just looking at the binary code of Cemu.

AFAIK it's unlikely, maybe some PPC interpreter code for the CPU. The rest of the system is so different when compared to Wii that Dolphin code wouldn't help much.
Also, by using Dolphin code (open source) in Cemu (closed source) Exzap would be violating our GPL license...
Jhonn is correct, he specifically stated during his Q&A that the only portion that was used from Dolphin's code was PPC interpreter, the rest he built it from the ground up.

No, he said that the PPC interpreter could be used but wasn't. "The only reusable component would be the PPC interpreter, but for this I used my own PPC interpreter from a different unreleased emulator project"
More along those lines, as he states "The only reusable component would be the PPC interpreter" I interpreted it slight different if you catch my interpretation.
Btw, wiiu-emu (the open source wiiu emulator) is now named! "Decaf" Since the console was cafe and expresso, and the emulator is the lack of those things, decaf. I like it!

Watching Decaf's development is fascinating. They are doing a hardware-test-first approach, which is a fantastic way to make an emulator!

thats the open source one no?
if so, they are doing it well then
Update: Cemu 1.0.1 has been released. The update contains mostly compatibility and graphical improvements. Games that crashed previously now go in-game. Mario Kart 8 now goes past splash screen into menus and even in-game. At this rate Mario Kart 8 will be fully compatible soon. Can't believe this!

Apparently the next update will be geared towards AMD gpus. So excited.
this shit is real ma niggas, i can't wait for it to be playable
AMD GPUs? Yay
