Whoa, wait a minute, Cemu and wiiu-emu are two different projects? I thought they were the same and wiiu-emu eventually got renamed to Cemu...
*mindblown*

EDIT: Cemu already lost my trust. The repository only have a readme file and no source code at all, only a pre-built binary. If the intention is making Cemu closed-source, why even bother setting up a GitHub repository?

Because they plan on being Open Source eventually? Dolphin started as Closed Source as well

Then start a repository only when you're already open source (what Dolphin did). I'm not sure but they may be breaking GitHub ToS by doing that...

Yeah and as soon as it became open source, it became the best emulator to ever exist on a PC.
Before that, you were lucky if it ran any games at all.

Without Dolphin being open source, they probably would have never fixed critical issues such as the Pixel Procession problems etc.
There'd never have been neobrain, lioncash, or anyone else to have a look at the code and figure something is wrong. (They are wizards). There never would be someone that no one even knew existed that fixes a critical bug somewhere and then later just leave and have someone new fix something again.

Literally the only reason why you wouldn't want to open-source an emulator is because you don't want people to see your shitty hacks to get some games running. Or you're using copyrighted stuff and don't want to get sued.
So many wii U emulators, any chance that we will see some wii U love on Dolphin after all?

Would Dolphin be a bike if it had wheels?
BTW if anyone wanted to buy a Wii U apparently Nintendo is selling them directly refurbed.

I might buy one actually for Smash...

Also limited edition Windwaker HD version of the Wii U is only $235 refurbed. Comes with everything except original box I believe

Or doing some shady stuff you don't want anyone to find out about
Im fine with them being closed source. If there is a github page im sure they will open it sooner rather than later. Wouldn't even be a point in having a github page other wise.Just be patient and wait and see what happens. They said they would try and update every 2 weeks, so lets see what comes if it.
Actually i'll retract my statment partially. I did some digging and found out the dev said "we wont make it open source unless the team looses interest or we get stuck". I think maybe he made the git to purposely piss people off. XD He had to know this would happen.
