Think long term man. Last week it was only at 250$. Now they have build 1.4.0 which has been said to be much faster and accurate to the point where some games are playable visually and framrate wise. Mark my words, there will be a spike.

Even if it's true that WiiU inherits some of its components from the Wii, the gap between WiiU and Wii is way mush bigger than the GC/Wii gap.
That's also why Dolphin devs answer "NO" to every "Dolphin WiiU support?" thread.

Oh and I tried out the build. They have patreon key protection over the software so no support unfortunately I can say though it is running great! My fps in wwhd was like 18-19 fps. I didn't mess with the settings so possibly faster.
