It is not uncommon to see a newer emulator become better than a previous one in the long term. The first n64 emulator was surpassed by Project64, Bleem for Playstation 1 was surpassed by epsxe, no$gba was surpassed by desmume for ds, chankast for dreamcast was surpassed by nulldc, etc. You still think it is difficult to happen in the longterm because you saw some screens from windwaker ingame with cemu? It happens all the time....

and now project 64 isnt updated anymore and somehow i cant use project 64 because of windows 10 i guess, everytime i go into fullscreen mode a message pops up

PJ64 is still updated and they fixed it on windows 10.
