I edited in everything I have found out, feeling stupid that I didn't use the Windows version to generate fresh ini files from the beginning.
The directory however, was quite a bit more difficult.

Edit: Aaaaaaand,it is now all on page 1 because this post created page 2. *pulls on face*

Tis' a shame cheats are failing to activate on Android currently.

I really hope someone looks into this and can fix it soon.
There is an EnableCheats option in the Dolphin.ini file, have you enabled that?
There isn't any reason that these cheats shouldn't be working, the code that runs them doesn't care about what architecture or OS it is running on.
Strange,I do have it set to "True" and yet the codes that definitely work on the PC don't work on my Shield TV Pro.
They are the codes directly downloaded from WiiRD and I took the same exact ini from my PC and placed it on the NSTV Pro in the now confirmed correct directory /sdcard/dolphin-emu/GameSettings/ since the settings in it applied to the game, such as fast disc read speeds making the loading screen instantly finish.

Edit: I think maybe there should at least be an element in the UI for enabling the cheats via the usual checkbox toggle to make it more reliable.
Changing the overclock settting and enabling it works fine, and I edit the Dolphin ini via ES File Explorer's text editor.

Also,an issue because the ini is not already there for it,Simpsons Hit & Run doesn't work since the default MMU hack option is not applied because of the missing ini file, but maybe I can easily download that ini and place it in the folder to fix that without a hitch. Wink
This would be a capital idea to make a thread linking all of the proper ini files to select from for their respective games so it runs correctly.
It might be the reason why several games with known bugs fixed by ini differences act like they do on Android besides the general buggy nature.
Edit: I can't find an ini with MMU Speed Hack enabled, and the ones I found showed a 3 in the star rating instead of the wiki's 4 stars.

Edit2: Forgot to say I grabbed release #1759 already and cheats didn't work on that build.
The MMU speedhack has been default enabled for thousands and thousands of revisions. It doesn't need an INI option to enable it.
Hope cheats can be fixed for whatever is causing them to not work.

Edit: Never mind about Hit & Run,it works for me now for whatever reason, but I can't walk with keyboard controls.
Why is there not a deadzone changing option or why is it at such a weak setting?
Edit2: Legit issue, analog movement doesn't work, making it unplayable until this gets sorted out.
And I can't use my gamepad unless controller profiles get added so I can rapidly switch between it and keyboard controls for personally limited reasons.
Brawl controls fine with the keyboard,so the keyboard is not the problem.
Does the bugs.dolphin issue tracker require a seperate account to be made?
I'm asking because I tried my forum login and it failed.
I was gonna submit an issue for "Cheats not working on Android." to reach out more.
Is there a way to get log data for Dolphin Android without needing root?
What is the log commands for cheats being enabled so I can look out for it if logs are properly viewable?

Edit: Completely forgot to mention that trying to toggle onscreen controls ingame on Simpsons Hit and Run causes an unfortunate crash error and exits to Dolphin's menu.

Edit2: Okay, truly an issue, the shield controller mapped and working, but analog still doesn't work on Simpsons Hit & Run.
Well that makes me really sad. Sad

Maybe it is because I can't get to the deadzone value to actually change it.

Yes.
Can I use the same account name when making a new one in there? (feel free to edit in the answer to avoid an extra post)

Maybe the hook specifically for loading cheats is broken on Android from porting or displacement from Android-only changes.
The ini should work for cheats since the settings were picked up from it correctly,so it must be the part that grabs those cheats and applies them to the game that's broken on Android alone.
Using the same name on the issue tracker is fine, and it can make it easier to recognize who you are.
Got a problem,it says my email is already taken. "Email has already been taken"
Kinda stupid I have to make an extra email JUST to register on it. (two emails means two places having spam)
If only there was a way to link my main Dolphin account to the bugs version with no conflicts.

Should I send a PM to an admin with my email and the problem I am running into?

Still want to enable the logs without needing root to see if the problem is revealed after someone mentions what should appear in the log if cheats were working.
