But I have Direct X 10

It wont override your Direct X 10, or anything for that matter.
An update is necessary, all it does is add extensions.

I installed and it still doesn't work, do i have to restart comp?

whats the exact error? are u sure u hit config, plugins and for gfx change dolphin opengl to direct 3d 9 if u already did that, just post the error plz
